Kelsey began dancing at the age of four in her hometown, Jackson, MS.  In 2013, Kelsey enrolled in classes at Ballet Magnificat School of the Arts.  She remained at their school through highschool graduation.  In 2017 she joined Ballet Magnificat's Trainee Progam and trained as a pre-professional for two years.  After graduation, she accepted as job as a professional dancer in Houston, TX at Ballet Excelsior.  She worked for Ballet Excelsior for one year, and shifted into a teaching position for Backstage Dance Studio.  Her love for choreography and teaching has brought her to Des Moines, IA to take on the role of Artistic Director for Encounter Performing Arts Company.
